From that moment onward, she became the first apprentice and Parvati's rival for her father's affections. Vanessa is an enthusiastic pillar of love and support, cheerfully practicing whatever spells Beelzebub showed her. Due to how she was raised and her current lifestyle she has often been called a crazy child, often trying to accomplish things with unconventional means. She also seems to have trouble distinguishing between topics that are socially acceptable or not, but this seems to be something brought on by how comfortable she is around who she's with.
Vanessa is a very artistic person - her room is a mishmash of art supplies and magical items of her own creation. In the Underworld she is a freelance artist and occasionally, a designer of gardens. She swings from formal to informal, depending on who she's talking to. Generally upon meeting someone she begins very formally - bowing, curtsying in greeting and profusely apologising for any wrongdoing. The extent of her formality grows until she begins to grow comfortable with them. She strives to speak properly although (mostly because of Lyra and Titalia) she may let loose an occasional curse or swear. She tends to relate things to metaphors, images and stories - explaining them as well as similes much of the time. Her practicality is limited to the battlefield and to learning and when the situation calls for it. For example, if Beelzebub (or anyone of the Triumvirate, or anyone she holds in high regard) tells her to retreat she will do so without hesitation.
Generally, Vanessa can be found in her room, in the gardens of Beelzebub's castle, her own plane, exploring the human world or hanging out with the girls when times are more relaxed; going shopping with them, gossiping with them, drinking and dancing with them. When the girls aren't around, she tends to stay quiet and listen rather than engage, though she'll jump at the chance to join in with Beelzebub's antics, such as going on a trip to Las Vegas to gamble, or to Milan for a fashion show.

She is friendly and open to playing along with whatever her peers want her to, and enjoys being supportive and helpful - often giving advice in a way that allows the person to come to the proper conclusion on their own. With Lyra and Titalia, Vanessa would defend them at very high risk to herself if she had to because they are her closest friends aside from the Triumvirate - Jeannette, Titalia's hostess helped bridge the once-fierce sibling rivalry Titalia and Vanessa had with each other. Lyra is Vanessa's polar opposite and confidante.
With the Triumvirate, Vanessa has an entirely different kind of love. From the age of six to ten she was raised inside Beelzebub's bedroom, hidden away from the rest of the castle and so the Triumvirate was her entire world, the first friends, parents and teachers she ever had concerning magic. She is deeply attached to them, often going out of her way to write letters to them, spend time with them and often proclaims that the three of them are the most important people in her life and that she "can't imagine life worth living without them."

She has a collection of boots, but her favorites are the purple ones. She rarely wears flats, except when heels and stilettos are defined as "over-the-top" (such as when hiking or for casual events.) When she's physically training, she opts for function over fashion: often she's seen wearing a shirt and jeans instead of dresses.
In the planes, she wears a cloak over her clothes, similar to The Shadow clow card. She's fond of accessories and is never seen without her crescent-moon choker and there is a black rose (called a deadbloom) pinned to the right side of her hair. During outings Vanessa carries a clutch or a small fashionable purse. (As long as she doesn't have to sling a bag on her shoulders or her back, to Vanessa, it's a purse.)

For the longest time she was bitter at being more sensitive to magic - while her sister was happily drawing and casting, Titalia felt dizziness and would ask her sister to stop. If other people serve no particular use or function, Titalia tends to dismiss them as unimportant. Vanessa describes her older sister as 'the gifted one.' A Sun Druidess, the human race has often attributed druidism to her - casting the Moon Druids in the same light as witches.
She is mature and self-reliant but also harbors a hidden gentler side that comes out whenever Vanessa is hurting or when Titalia turns to her sewing. An accomplished seamstress, Titalia makes all of her own clothes and even taught Messiah how to embroider patterns onto cloth. Upon meeting someone, Titalia is formal like her sister - the shift from formal to informal depends on how comfortable Titalia is with another person. She has a cool and calm decisiveness and isn't easily intimidated.
Of the twins, Titalia has a better memory - that is, one that wasn't heavily erased or tampered with. She is the original Druid Queen although she chose to let Vanessa take over the throne as opposed to her sister requesting that they rule together. She doesn't really work in conjunction with Vanessa or the other Stars of Ascension, keeping to herself as well as keeping important information from them - unless it's prudent that they be informed. Currently she is being guarded night and day by Harpnote, Lyra's brother, and is expecting twin babies of her own.

She is open enough and willing to do what her peers ask of her - provided it does not humiliate or end up with innocents being mercilessly slaughtered.
